A self taught 22 year old photographer specializing in analog film, aspiring to create, and document the things I love how I see them.

My name is Jaxon Idt, I’m an aspiring photographer. I’ve been doing photography for just over 7 years now. Previously working a lot with various companies doing product work, before pivoting in the last 3 years to a more artistic approach with my work. Focusing on my passion for documentary & fine art type work learning a fully analog workflow. I am completely self taught, and grew up always having cameras around. It’s my one true passion.

I worked in retail for a handful of years, before being urged by my boss to make photography my sole focus. In that time I spent every dollar and second I could travelling and building my portfolio even getting some photos I took featured by Leica as well as Kodak, and Ilford.

Looking to bring analog film processing back to Halifax & the rest of Atlantic Canada.
